Multi-Chassis Infinity Specifications

ACT Teleservices' call center is run on Amtelco's Multi-Chassis Infinity System. It is a PC and LAN based system designed specifically for the call center environment.  It is fully programmable by staff on site.  

 

Here are some facts about our system:
  • We achieve full redundancy with mirrored hard drives and daily system back ups.
  • Platform runs on Pentium III Intel Processor.
  • Kept safely in an Industrial Cabinet, it is rack mounted with 7 cooling fans.
  • Dual "hot swappable" power supplies.
  • Dual "hot swappable" hard drives. 
  • Software fully programmable by ACT Teleservices staff. Format & copy while on line capabilities.
  • Infinity Software runs Telephony, Dispatch, Voice Mail and Message Taking, which removes interface downtime.
  • We have a Generator with Battery Back Up to ensure constant power to our system.

Infinity's digital switching is accomplished with Amtelco's own XDS (Externally Defined Switching) PC-based boards.  The XDS boards use MVIP (Multi-Vendor Integration Protocol) busses, a standard in the Computer Telephony (CTI) Industry. Developers around the world in custom switching applications use the same XDS boards.
